I talk about a lot of stuff. While it may seem unrelated to health, I think everything ties back in — everything is connected.
Getting to a place of feeling great mentally, physically, and emotionally isn’t just about the food you eat and exercise you do. Those are important, but they aren’t everything.
Where and how you spend your time (and who with!) is really important too. How are you feeling about your finances and money in the bank? Does thinking about talking money with a significant other raise your blood pressure? What about your job? Do you like your boss? If you’re the CEO of your house, does doing a load of laundry make your blood boil every time? How about relationships, sex, friendships? Anybody you see consistently fill you up and leave you with a smile? How are you spending your waking hours?
You can eat all of the kale and broccoli in the world, drink only water, and exercise faithfully for 30 minutes every day. And if you’re spending your time in a soul-sucking job, walking on eggshells in a close relationship, dreading sex, or feeling like there is never enough when you look at your bank account, something is still going to feel off in your body — bad, yucky, heavy, stuck, you name it.
Nothing is life exists in a vacuum. Everything is connected.
