All of the touchy-feely tools like meditation, journaling, feeling your feelings and emotions — they do have a purpose.

When you’ve taken a moment on the front-end to feel whatever you’ve got going on and deal with it, you’ll end up spending less time backtracking, picking up the pieces, and sorting through shit, saving you brainpower for the more important stuff you want to do (and you’ve only got so much brainpower to use each day, so it helps to spend it wisely).
