1st: Awareness

Part of life is learning and relearning the same lessons over and over (because we humans sometimes seem to need several times to really get things). Quit beating yourself up about it — it’s okay. You are human.

The next time the lesson hits, slow your butt down and ask yourself what might be here to learn FOR YOU. How might life be happening FOR YOU (rather than to you)?

And then spend a moment actually thinking about it.

If you want a different result, you’re going to need to do something different. And awareness is a useful first step.
