Sometimes people ask why we’re called Skip the Box, because it’s not an obvious name (and we could have a whole conversation about why that’s good/bad for business, though we like the name and thus that’s that 😉).

We’re called Skip the Box because we’ve learned the hard way (as most biz owners have!) that living in a ‘box’ bites the big one. A LOT.

👉 Living in the “everyone else has it together in their business (or life), what’s my problem?” box is like getting repeatedly slapped in the face with a dead fish. With your mouth open. 🐟🥴

👉 Living in the “if I can just figure out the right tool to use, my business will finally grow” box will drive you (and your team) to insanity more quickly than you’d think — or burnout.🛠️🧰😫

👉 Living in the ‘shoulds’ and “this is the one/right way to do things” box kills your soul by a death of a thousand paper cuts.✅📄🗡️💀

👉 Living in the “I must do all of the things if I want my business to be successful” box is like running a marathon…over Legos…holding a 20 lb kettlebell…in full sun…and then starting over as soon as you cross the finish line.🏃‍♂️🏋️☀️🔁

And as we want none of this for ourselves, we are not going to force someone looking for support into a box of “THIS is the right tool” or “your business should look like THIS” — because there are an infinite number of ways that your business could work. And what is MOST important is finding the way that works for YOU.

So, there you have it. Skip the box in your life. Skip the box in your business.
